    SPMU Lip Blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that deposits pigment into the lips using a machine similar to a tattoo gun. Unlike traditional tattoos, the pigment is placed more superficially in the skin, resulting in a soft, natural tint rather than a bold, permanent colour.

    What Does It Do?

    How Long Does It Last?

    • A touch-up is usually required 4–6 weeks after the initial session
    • Annual refreshers are recommended to maintain vibrancy 

    What to Expect During and After the Procedure:

    • Procedure time: 2–3 hours
    • Mild discomfort: A numbing cream is applied to minimise pain
    • Healing time: About 7–10 days
    • Initial colour: Appears darker and more intense, then fades by up to 40% as it heals
    • Downtime: Swelling, redness, and slight scabbing are normal in the first few days 

    Who Should Avoid It?

    • People with certain health conditions (e.g., active cold sores, uncontrolled diabetes)
    • Smokers may experience faster fading and less pigment retention
    • Those prone to keloids or with very sensitive skin
